Though he had noticed a few others as they drove by. They pull into a parking lot and walk into the one labeled with the letters Gamma Tau. One of many slang terms and nicknames around campus he'll likely need to get used to as he gets in the car and Dorian brings him to an area of campus filled with several large buildings with greek letters on the front of them. "And you're not going to the Bunks like all the other freshies on that bus" and then when he sees Jonathan's confused look he clarifies "Freshman housing, McCallister Hall, but no one calls it that, we all call it the Bunks" and Jonathan nodded. "To Gamma bro, this front gate is nowhere near fraternity row" Dorian explained. Dorian leads him to a red car in the parking lot. "Its great to finally meet you" Jonathan says instead of bringing up the myth of an eternally beautiful man, accepting the hand shake. There was nothing wrong with Jonathan's appearance but it wasn't quiet the perfect frat jock apparence.
And certainly he'd stand out if the frat was full of guys who looked like Dorian, and of course it did. With his pale skin, freckles, short brown hair and slight chub, he hardly felt like a typical pool boy. Looking at the nearly perfect man made Jonathan feel just a little self concious. Like the story? Jonathan didn't say allowed. "Great to meet ya bro! I'm Dorian Greystone, Gamma Tau President" he said stretching out his hand. At the front gates there was a man waiting there with a sign that said 'Jonathan' like one might at a airport and Jonathan walked over at the guy grinned. A car ride from his parents, plane ride, and bus ride later, he was here. Along with some trips to a community pool to get a bit more in swimming shape. The next few weeks were spent buying the essentials for his room, declining the other college acceptance letters and registering for his first semester courses. It was certainly more formal than he was expecting which gave him some hopes.
Housing will be free of charge in our house too. You are free to pledge as well but you don't have to. Please be aware that this is a commitment to work for and live with Gamma Tau for your career at the University. We are pleased to find someone interested in the position. It was only a few days later that he recieved a email from the Frat's president. But, it was that or he couldn't attend his dream college so he decided to bite the bullet and applied for the job. Joining the frat wasn't required but still, living with a bunch of rowdy college jocks wasn't Jonathan's ideal living situation. And then there was the other caveat, the free housing would be provided in the Gamma Tau house, and not the typical freshman housing, McCallister Hall. Jonathan wasn't sure if cleaning a pool was how he wanted to use his spare time.
The job was to clean the frat’s semi indoor semi outdoor pool. Reading further showed that the job was for pool boy. He did see an advert on the schools housing site that one of the frats, Gamma Tau, was willing to provide free housing to a student willing to work for them. He was determined to go, however, and started researching alternatives. His family couldn't afford the fees and in order to go there he would have to live there. What he wasn't happy about was that room and board would not be covered by his scholarship and he lived a few states away. He was excited because of all the schools he applied to, his dream school had accepted him.
Jonathan was excited and disappointed simultaneously. Send me pics, chat me, the more detailed the idea the more fun I can have with it and I don't mind doing these longer things for people. He had a detailed idea for rushing Gamma and I really enjoyed writing this.
